Burgess-How Log Cabin

The Burgess-How log home (circa 1840) was scheduled for destruction at its original site in Mapaville, Missouri. The KHS dismantled the cabin log-by-log and moved and reassembled it in Kimmswick in 1970. The KHS has preserved and furnished the log cabin as an 1840’s farmhouse. There is no charge to tour the Burgess-How April through December on Sundays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
